Hi

I have been using KAV and PIA (Private Internet Access) for some time without any problems.

After a recent KAV update it became impossible to access web pages while PIA was connected. Other types of conection, (ie not HTP - bittorrent for example), seem unaffected.

Changing between IE and Firefox leave the problem unchanged.

Disabling PIA and retaining KAV clears the problem. Removing KAV and retaining PIA clears the problem.

PIA have offered several work arounds involving configuration changes both to PIA and KAV and also involving the use of OpenVPN. None of which have resolved the problem.

Does anyone here have asuggestion of a fix/work around that might enable the use of both products together?

Thanks people.

Mouse over the "K" and let us know the version you are running.

Because a hot fix had been relevantly released just to address this issue. Have you tried to reboot your computer after the patch had installed?

I am sorry its not out yet. But if you upgrade to v2017 (which is free to all current license holders), there had been a patch already released.
