Mount Point Manager Remote Database

Hi

 

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 version 8.0.0.357 (a.b.c).

 

This morning after the update when I scan my computer it freezes at 64% when it reaches Mount Point Manager Remote Data Base in System Volume Information. I have tried everything and still as soon as it reaches the Mount Point Manager Remote Data Base in System Volume Information it freezes. I have not installed or uninstalled any program. It was working fine yesterday. Any idea how I can fix this.

I have been having the same problem. Your setup is exactly like mine. The only way KIS will complete a scan is to uncheck system restore. BTW, this all started right after installing and using a program called crap cleaner.

Thanks. I didn't installed anything when I got the freeze. The system restore didn't work for me. But today miraculously it worked. Let's hope it stays like that.
