Runing ASP script

Recommended Posts

I have problems runing ASP based pages!

I think that KAV for win workstation (ver. 5.0.0.255) is the problem!

KAV is runing on WinXP computer with IIS installed! (so pages are runing localy) I have tried do disable real time protection and it doesn't help. Every time i get this kind of error:

...

HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error

Internet Information Services

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Error Type:

An error occurred while creating object 'WScript'.

Active Server Pages error '00000000'

Create object failed

?

An error occurred while creating object 'JSProxy'. test

...

The page i'm trying to load has only one line of code:

<% Set fs=Server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

response.Write "test" %>

The first time it loads i get error and after presing "refresh" page loads normaly. If KAV is not runing page loads normaly for the first time!

Thanks for any help!

We have the same problem on Fileserver(5.0.57) & all workstations(5.0.227).

I reported this to support over a week ago, but have yet to hear anything back.

Hi,

I received this solution from Kaspersky.

1. Disable real-time script protection

2. Unregister "scr_ch_pg.dll" file (type "regsvr32 scr_ch_pg.dll /U" in command shell)

3. Replace existing "scr_ch_pg.dll" file with the one they sent me in attachment (attached to this message)

4. Register the new file (type "regsvr32 scr_ch_pg.dll" in command shell)

5. Restart Web services

6. Enable real-time script protection

Hope it helps! :)

Hi,

I have tried your solution but apparently it works only until the next reboot.

Did you try to reboot?

Just tried out on a Win2K server and also on a WinXP Pro SP2 PC and it worked juuuuust fine on both! :) I hope it works for you too.
