Kaspersky Antivirus 7.0 makes my web server extremely slow.

Recommended Posts

Kaspersky Antivirus 7.0 makes my web server extremely slow.

I have a web server using "Mbedthis Mbedthis Appweb 2.4.0" with cgi enabled in a windows 2000 computer(IP: 192.168.1.20).

When I visit http://192.168.1.20/doc/1.exe from a XP with Kaspersky AV7.0 installed, it will take 1-2 minutes to open this page.

If I visit from other computers, this page will be open in 1 second.

I captured the network packets and found it take kaspersky 1 minutes to close the connection.

Can anyone help? It still happens even if I turn kaspersky off.

And the cgi script is simple, here is the code:

#include <stdio.h>

#include <string.h>

#define LF 10

int main(int argc, char**argv)

{

const char s[] = "<html><head><meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"1\"/></head><body><center>Hello World!</center></body></html>";

printf("Connection: close%c", LF);

printf("Content-Length: %d%c", strlen(s), LF);

printf("Content-type: text/html%c%c", LF,LF);

printf("%s", s);

return 0;

}
