Suspicious activity between Lastpass and Windows Explorer was blocked

Recommended Posts

I was going through the detailed reports on my Kaspersky Total Security as I wanted to see what application is constantly requesting use of my camera and is obviously being rejected... when I saw the requests yesterday from Windows Explorer to read and duplicate the memory and processes of my Lastpass plugin and application process data.

They were blocked by Kaspersky... but due to the fact that many requests were sent per second, should I assume that my Lastpass passwords have been compromised?

I heard recently that password managers do have the fault of leaving passwords unencrypted in the memory and so this worries me a little.

Read recently online that, when some Password managers launch new

app updates. Sometimes their users get duplicate memory processes

so windows explorer just scan & display its findings on that logs list

As first step you should contact - LastPass Tech support

or switch to Kaspersky Password Manager
