Kaspersky in combination with Veeam B&R 9.5U4 - Secure restore

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am using Veeam B&R for backing up internal VM's on Vsphere 6.5

In Veeam latest update (9.5 U4) they launched secure restore.

It means you scan your virtual servers on malware before they are back to production.

It is based on XML file which i have added Kaspersky command line paramaters.

But when scanning drives it gives exitcode -6

Can anyone help with this ?

Hello.

Please specify which KL products of which versions you are using, and what the siggested connection is between the stated error and the KL product's activity.

Thank you.

Hi

I al using Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server.

The scan ended with exitcode -6

Unfortunately, it is still largely unclear what sort of scan is implied, and how KSWS is involved. Please describe the issue in terms of KSWS, provide screenshots if possible.

This forum cannot provide support for Veeam software.

Thank you.

Hello,

-6 is error_invalid_operation, which probably means that you have used incorrect scan parameters in your XML file. Can you show the file to me?  (via the private message, if you prefer)
