I copied from USB (scanned by KTS) a program which seems after using Malwarebytes showed 500 malwares

Recommended Posts

Hello

I've been using KTS for years now. Recommend it to all my friends.

Lately, I copied from USB (scanned by KTS) a program which seems after using Malwarebytes showed 500 malwares (which I deleted).

My questions are: How come KTS did not find those malwares? and does KTS work fine if I install Malwarebytes along with it?

Thank you

What program did you scan with KTS?

What malware did Malwarebytes find?

We really need some more details to answer your question.

This question has been asked (and answered) here many times. It's probably OK to use Malwarebytes as an on-demand scanner, but I wouldn't use its real-time protection.

Hello Buddel,

Thank you for your reply.

It was a driver updater which I got from a friend. 500+ malwares can't be summarized here :)

Thanx a lot

Can you provide a small representative snippet of information as to  file name, full path, full location, detection verdict. Otherwise, we have absolutely zero clue whatsoever.
