Thunderbird 63, are my incomong emails being scanned by Kaspersky?

Recommended Posts

This is in regard to Thunderbird 63.  i see Kaspersky is on their (TBirds) certified list  (Thunderbird options/tools/advanced/certificates/manage certificates/AUTHORITIES.)   However, following the same path - options/tools/advanced/certificates/manage certificates/YOUR CERTIFICATES.  Under this last - YOUR CERTIFICATES - i do not see Kaspersky..

I am not concerned about having the Kaspersky anti-spam.

My only concern is -- are my incomong emails being scanned by Kaspersky?

Thanks. :)

Sorry - not that literate - what is meant by WEBMAIL inbox.  Sorry if this Q. seems simplistic. :)  i do not use gmail - my email comes into to me via local ISP in Thumderbird (on this PC) and on Outlook 2016 (on another PC)

Thanks. jems

Webmail : is an E-Mail system in which users access, view their Emails=Messages

by open a Browser on any computer, Laptop, cellPhone,.Etc. Webmail examples

are Gmail - Hotmail - Yahoo Mail - Outlook.com - Twitter,.Etc. Got it now..?

and inbox = Mailbox : is called to the list of Emails = Messages received

in your case in - Thumderbird & Outlook 2016 | Hope this help you :)

Also , by default Kaspersky Mail Anti-Virus  is scanning POP3 and IMAP protocols and  the Kaspersky  File Anti-Virus is another additional protection layer to block malicious objects.

:P All right! Jems we are glad that everything is clear out - Regarding the

issue. if klab scan incoming Emails : Now this is an unusual remark..

But recently the indio answered a question to you titled

" KTS to KIS, do I have to uninstall, or? "  Did you

finally Update to KTSecurity - 19.0.0 1088..?

is frustrated for the contributors, when

posted a reply and the member

goes mute : We wonder if

the answer - Fixed the

issue or Not : Bye!
