Kaspersky Internet Security Blocking Legitimate Scripts

Recommended Posts

Kaspersky is getting worse with blocking legitimate scripts and stopping websites functioning properly. And now it is even blovking Google's ReCaptcha?

Refused to load the script 'https://gc.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com/4451AD82-D597-EE4E-B7AE-7C1A5B100CE3/main.js' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'report-sample' 'nonce-IBYAqk5A6Hb/QOLlZlFUSpMZqds' 'unsafe-inline' 'strict-dynamic' https: http: 'unsafe-eval' https://gc.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com wss://gc.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com". 'strict-dynamic' is present, so host-based whitelisting is disabled.

KIS is a product for home users not business edition. That script is part of Anti-Banner / traffic scanning and happens on your local machine only. You can switch it off in Settings.

I think you are missing the point.

It has nothing to do with what we do. We use this so we replicate user environments. If we are getting these blockers, so is the average user on the internet who uses Kaspersky. And the average user is a home user. And that average home user has no idea how and when to turn it off in settings.

So how can Kaspersky block Google's ReCAPTCHA? It is one of the most used form spam blockers on the internet.

It is a shame Kaspersky chose to ignore further response. As such we have moved to other AV and encouraging our clients to do the same.

This is a user forum, nobody is ignoring you. Also ensure that you are running the latest version of v2019 and advise your users as such. All malware vendors have issues from time to time and they can't fix it unless you provide further details.

If you want an answer from KL please open a support ticket via https://my.kaspersky.com for personal products or https://companyaccount.kaspersky.com for business products.
