I just contacted Kaspersky support about this issue, I've been told that it is false/positive and developers working to solve this false pop-up.

I think you are new to this thread so the K Support message might have seemed OK and it was as far as it went but K Support knows this is a recurring problem and it was only 2 weeks ago that it seemed to have been cured but hasn't been. I'd have thought some recognition by K Support that it was a problem that unfortunately has recurred would have been appropriate and is now being dealt with as befits an issue for which the cure lasted less than 2 weeks.

Hi mikethebike and wileycoyote

The message that I have just received from technical support in the UK is that they have re-escalated the support case to the Virus Specialists for further investigation.

So I guess some acknowledgement that it is a recurring problem.

I received an e mail from Kaspersky Lab Technical Support half an hour ago. It says that site  is being analyzed by Kaspersky Virus specialists.

It's rather a component of Kaspersky Internet Security than a site, I think.

I updated Kaspersky database manually and tried false alert giving web site two times successively today afternoon (10.07.2018), no alert any more . It seems OK.

Yes got a message from technical support saying the problem had been resolved, and indeed all seems good again - for the moment at least.

I have received this email from Kaspersky Lab technical support....

I have received a reply form our HQ and the require some information from your end that will help with the issue.

Please send us a detailed 'Detected objects' report:

1. If the main window of Kaspersky application is not on your desktop, bring it up by double-clicking the Kaspersky desktop shortcut (icon) or by double clicking on the smaller Kaspersky icon in the bottom right corner of the screen;
2. Click the green 'More Tools' button on the application main window.
3. Click on 'Reports' from the left pane, and then on 'Detailed reports'.
4. Once the 'Detailed Reports' window opens, click on 'All Events'
5. Select 'Detected objects' from the drop-down list.
6. Click on 'Export' at the top right corner.
7. Name and save the report.
8. Send it to us by attaching it to your reply.

I have not done it yet and am querying why they should want this information when the problem appears to be a "false positive" error on their part.

wileycoyote, I have just done for my own interest what K is asking you to do and it comes up with no detected objects. While I have only tried online banking once since it was last "cured" and this was after the posts here that it had recurred, it did show a phishing link and not the original "Dangerous URL. However even that phishing link isn't showing up in "detected objects"

I too am puzzled with this request given what it has said. There may be good reasons for this request but as it seems at odds with what K was saying only a couple of days ago, an explanation as to what the requested action on your part is designed to do would be helpful

Just as a matter of interest what does your detected objects show? Thanks

Hi Mike, When you say "detected objects" what do you mean please? As far as I can see there have been two separate "false positives" issues affecting numerous Kaspersky users like us. For now they appear resolved

I am asking Kaspersky for further clarification before I do anything, because the problem appears to have been at their end, rather than mine.

Hi again Mike, you pricked my curiosity and I went through the instructions given by K. Like you nothing was detected.

I've sent a report off, and will let you know the outcome.

Cheers.
