No problem at all - I misinterpreted the OP message.  FYI I'm running KIS 19.0.0.1088(a) (forever being updated of-course) and have  had no KIS reports for my frequent recent accesses to Santander, Halifax, Lloyds.  Interesting though.

I have checked "My Reports" and each time it says "Dangerous URL Blocked" and shows exactly what wileycoyote reported in his first post. There were no such reports in respect of online banking before Friday 22 June. Other online sites where I use SafeMoney because money is transferred such as Paypal do not reveal any reports of Dangerous URL being blocked

Thank you for this richbuff. I have sent a request to lab support a couple of days ago.

Since numerous people are presently experiencing this problem, is it not unlikely that the problem relates to some specific problem with one's own individual computer?

wileycoyote, I know a lot less than richbuff but I must admit that this was my thought as well. It looks to be a general problem. I feel the Klab response is key. Let's hope that you get one soon. If in my case the Dangerous URL is being blocked which the report says it is, then it may be that I have nothing to fear by accessing online banking but an assurance from Klab to that effect would be welcome.

I look forward to hearing from you when you get a reply. If Klab now know that it is affecting general access to online banking their response on the forum might be sensible

Yes, I've received this...

Dear customer,

Our Virus Specialists have informed me that it was a false/positive detection and that the site has been unblocked. The issue will be resolved via a database update in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

A relief but also somewhat annoying too.

Thanks, wileycoyote. I feel likewise. Maybe K has done all it can and as fast as possible but given that a breach of online banking is probably the biggest single risk that any of us is faced with, I'd hope that K is geared up for fast action to resolve such scares and has the Public Relations savvy to recognise that we need to feel our concerns are being addressed at top speed.

The problem know appears, for me at least to be resolved, I'm no longer getting the very worrying warning message.

I was really surprised that a premium security product upon which we rely such as Kaspersky offers no technical support over the weekend indeed in the UK support is limited to  8.00 - 5.30 Monday to Friday.

Something I will need to consider in the future.

Saxel, I tried to access my online banking twice today. Once immediately after seeing your post and once again 2 minutes ago. No problem either  time so it certainly looks to be resolved

I'm finding the identical problem has returned and I am once more receiving what appear to be false positives when accessing bank sites.

Anybody else having this problem?

Yes wileycoyote

Exact same problem has returned for me also, guess it is back on to support once more tomorrow.

Annoying isn't it?

Anyway, I've sent off a report to technical support, but will be great if you can too Saxel.

Will do, however you do start to question the value of a security product which cannot be relied upon, particularly for on-line banking.

Yes Saxel, I agree with you. When it first happened a couple of weeks ago it was somewhat bothersome, but one felt the problem was fixed and dealt with.

And now it's happening again!

I hadn't used my online banking for several days or more but tried it just now when I saw your posts. It has returned for me as well. This time the only change I can see is that the message is not a dangerous URL has been blocked but a phishing link has been blocked.

So add me to the numbers experiencing the same problem all over again.

I had same problem today. Everytime i tried to open my bank account today KIS says: "Dangerous URL blocked". I wrote a letter to KIS team no answer yet. Isbank.thumb.PNG.68c31d147293b621e8ea68be922091d6.PNG

SNAP. Same again. Getting tiresome and seriously wondering whether it`s time to change as some of the notifications I get are beyond me. I also have bucket loads of SSL invalid certificate notifications when looking at my "detailed reports". Ok so they are warnings that have been sorted  but non the less concerning. If it wasn`t that I have an extended 2 year subscription I would be off. Very interesting to note hundreds of lines of attempts to collect data in the detailed reports relating to moneysaving expert forum and can you believe kapsersky forum too . So kaspresky is notifying me or blocking attempts by kaspersky forum to collect data. Interesting huh !

Hi, I am looking if anyone could advise me how to sort this problem.

When I enter login details and click login into online banking, I get Kaspersky pop-up saying "Threat of Data Loss"  [Dangerous URL blocked]. Kaspersky report for that event shows around 20 URLs that connection to them have been blocked (URL names look very dodgy, something like: www.anz.com/inetbank/logincartabcc.it/script). Report says that Reason: URL listed in database of phishing URLs.

Some facts and things that I tried:

* Made sure I login to legit online banking website

* Findout that if I enter login details incorectly to my online banking form, then I don't have [Dangerous URL blocked] pop-up

* Usually I use Chrome, but I downloaded Firefox to see if same thing happens, and on firefox this thing happens too, so I don't think there is something to do with browser add-ons. I also tried to use Kaspersky secure window, same thing happens.

* I ran full computer scan using Kaspersky Antivirus, Malwarebytes Antimalware, Super Anti-Spyware Profesional Antispyware. Only antispyware found some cookies to delete, but nothing changed.

* I use Windows10

* I think I have only legit software installed on my computer, I do not download random software, neither use torrents.

I don't know what else I can do to solve this problem. I suspect that I have some malware on my computer that does this. Can someone please advise me what actions I should take? I do not want to reinstall windows for this.

Ask me if you need more info about something.

I just contacted Kaspersky support about this issue, I've been told that it is false/positive and developers working to solve this false pop-up.

Thank you Dominic. Just makes you wonder if this is going to be a regular occurrence?

I see that wileycoyote started this thread more than two weeks ago and the problem has reappeared since.

The first reason I am using Kaspersky is to protect/secure my online banking transactions.

These kind of incidents should be handled more unambiguously and in timely manner.
