After upgrade to patch version 647, activation lost and protection disabled, update is impossible. Asked to reinstall the application.

I try delete current trial key and activate again but failed, when i choose to get a trial or insert a commercial key, it says ' invaild key'.

This is stable reproduce:

1 intsall avp with patch G and disable protection.

2 enable trace to maximum and update from test server--reboot

3 avp report that activation was lost, need reinstall. Can not update. Reboot or restart can not solve the problem

4 delete current key and activate again, failed.

Here are traces and a GSI6 report:

Hello Kl

I have a question about kaspersky's firefox extension.

I rarely use firefox, so actually I know little about it. To proceed with beta test, I installed latest firefox 59.0.1 x64.

At first I thought the plug in for firefox is Invisible because I do not see the usual kaspersky plug in icon and firefox also never inform me that there is an extension ready for me, while safe money works well with firefox.

But just now I discovered that I can manage to manually install this file on firefox and than I see the shield like icon. But sadly it is grey, not functional.

I see in bug fix, there is a ' Requirement 2575311:[BRQ][FF] fix problems Kaspersky Protection add-on for Firefox blocked'.

So I am confused, that looks not normal..........What's going on?

Update:

I found that even if I have disabled safe money, KL certificate still not working when I visit those banking websites using IE.

However, KL certificate will show up when I open other https website, than it disappear when I visit a banking website. No matter whether I am using safe money.

This phenomenon only appears when I use Internet Explorer.

I found an interesting phenomenon.

If I click Clear button to delete all kaspersky reports, all files in quarantine will also disappear immediately.

That means  by clearing program logs, users will also lose opportunity to restore backup objects in quarantine. This may cause the user some unnecessary loss.

Hello,

Try to clear all KL Certificate in Firefox certificates manager and reboot PC. Try to reinstall the latest kl certificate provided in Data\cert folder and reboot or reopen the firefox again to check this behavior is exist or not.

BTW, I admire your hard work, I respect you as a man. Guy~

Westly, that doesn't help. The only solution is to reinstall this patch, and it works for about a day. It just disappears without any warning.

I never changed any avp settings, but when I update the latest patch build which is 18.0.0.676, this notification keep pop up when I restart OS.

I do not see this in early patch.

And most important, I can not  choose to disable it alone.

Can you give an option to disable it?  I indeed want to be notified about wifi vulnerabilities, but being public is not big mistake, It is annoying to receiving this each time I boot OS.

If I set network type to trusted, will that reduce any protection level? In most cases users may do not know how to change network type but accidentally disable all avp notifications in windows action center.

That's interersting, the alert is still poping up even if I set the network type to Trusted.

The only way to disable it is turnning off notify of vulnerabilities.

It more looks like a bug now,
