Unstallation first completed then fatal error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I created an uninstallation task and configured a wrong uninstallation password. First the task showed an event "Completed" and then an event "Fatal error (Invalid uninstall Password)".

For traces, logs and event-logs please refer to https://www.magentacloud.de/lnk/mlhZk02Y.

Kind regards,

OBK

When an uninstallation task complets, I expect an event "task completed successfully" or "task completed unsuccessfully". But as you can see at the attached files and the screenshot which I attached today, the uninstallation task finished with "task completed successfully" and some seconds later the same task creates an event "task completed unsuccessfully". That's not normal.

Kind reagards,

I tested it with KSC version 10.5.1529 and KES 11.0.0.51816.

Hello.

Please use latest available build.

At the given link I find only the beta3 for KSC but not for KES. image.png.d42efe9ee4d6d3caad46192d1c3d91ab.png

Hello.

The credentials used for accessing  KES and KSC distributions are different, I have just checked servers and they have necessary data.

Yes. Same behaviour with beta3.

Hello.

Did you supplied incorrect password in uninstallation task ?

Task itself doesn't check a password and provides it to a host, if there is an error in task settings it will be generated on workstation and reported to KSC.

Is it possible that KSC reports "Remote uninstallation completed successfully on this device" and the workstation reports "Remote ininstallation has finished on this device with an error ..." and you think that this behaviour is okay?

I am only a normal IT-Administrator and not a KSC specialist. Such combination of messages confused me.

But if you want, you may close the topic.
