Kaspersky Window after update

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I started a task to install the update from KES 10 SP2 to KES 11 beta. After the reboot in the device the attached windows popped up. But why?

Please refer to attached screenshots and the install task.

Kind regards,

OBK

Have you tried to use license for KES11 beta-testing?

How is it possible to test an update with two licenses? The advanced license for KES 10 SP2 MR1 and the beta license for the update task to KES 11 beta?

You can activate KES11 either locally or by means of KSC task.

I think I have to describe it clearer:

- I started the install task on the KSC

- At the end on the client the KES window pops up.

- I changed to window license and saw: Application not acitaved

- After a time KES was activated Without doing anything.

The istallation is okay. But it's not nice that the window pops up.

Kind regards,

OBK

This is expected behavior.

Since you didn`t specify a key during installation KES was installed without it. But during synchronization(15 by default) it received a key from KSC and was activated automatically.

But when I started an install task on KSC 10 SP2 to install KES 10 SP2 never a window pop up on the client. The Installation was absolutly silent.

Are you using any command line parameters for Installation?

I used the task as attached as starting the topic.

Could you please specify command line parameters at KES installation package properties and try to reproduce the issue?

Which command line parameters should I specify? And where? At the property window it's not possible to enter command line parameters.

Hi,

You could use setup.ini file instead.

Could you please confirm that this window does not appear if a key is specified at KES installation package?

Thank you!
