Hi,

We have configured in KSC policy for external devices scan and we enable the function to scan mass storages on connection. But when we try to connect our removable drives to our server, it seems that KSWS would not scan it. Kindly advice.

Hi,

Check size of your summary data stored on removable device. It is less then 1024 MB? If this point is not true for your case, you must change directive "Scan removable drive if its stored data volume does not exceed(MB)" and make them more then your summary data stored.

Working scenario: summary size of stored data < value of directive "Scan removable drive if its stored data volume does not exceed(MB)"

Thanks.

Hi,

As per attach screenshot, we've set Scan removable drive if its stored data volume does not exceed(MB)": 16348MB which means not exceed to  16GB. But currently our removable drive is only 8GB. Kindly advice.

Hi,

Thanks for info.

Well, we read information from traces and according of it, our product was execute OnDemandTask after Mass Storage Device was pluged into computer.

It can be very helpfull, if you go to the product management console -> "Logs and notification" section and "Task Logs". If everything OK, you can see the completed OnDemandTask with name like "USB_XX.XX.XX XX:XX:XX".

Like this screenshot in attachment.

Thanks.
