pgriffith Posted June 5, 2017 I was running KART 1.1.24.0 successfully. Upon seeing there was a new version (1.1.31.0) I uninstalled, rebooted as asked, and then tried to install the new version. I get the following error: Service 'Kaspersky Lab Driver' (klif) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I've disable my AV (Avast) and tried disabling all non essential services to no avail. ANd of course I am an admin, and have been on all failed machines. I've tried installing previously on 2 other Windows 10 machines and received the same error (not mine) and my media center PC, which is still Windows 8, with only Defender as AV on it, same error there as well. So I've had the same error on, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 10 Creators Update, all fully up to date. I tried the removal tool specifically made for KART to no avail as well. Strange that 1.1.24.0 was running fine and has been since its release. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post
