Application wont run without first disabling Protection [Solved]

Recommended Posts

Hi

I need some help after doing the obvious exclusions on both client and server policy i'm left with no other option other than to pause protection and control on one of my clients.

KSC: 10.3.407

Client: 10.2.5.3201

Net Agent: 10.3.407

Application installed on single client runs a report using RWRUN60.exe located in C:\oracle\reports\BIN\

Turn laptop on.

login end user or Admin.

run report receive error unable to run RWRUN60.exe.

Pause protection and control.

run report works.

enable protection and control

Run report works and will continue to work until laptop is rebooted at which point we have to run through this process again.

So to summarize we are unable to run report until first trying then disabling protection trying again and then re-enabling protection until reboot when we do the same again.

Anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks.

Dave

Screen shots are what added from policy in KSC.

full path to location is: c:\oracle\reports\BIN\RWRUN60.exe

Unfortunately, KSC 10.3.407 does not interpret user defined path variables. Please use absolute paths instead.

Thank you.

Would this be the absolute path: C:\oracle\reports\BIN\?

Similarly to other entries, the "Path" field should look like

c:\oracle\reports\BIN\RWRUN60.exe

Thank you.
