svchost.exe exclusion?

Recommended Posts

In KTS 16, the Host Process for Windows Host, file svchost.exe, was listed in Trusted Applications. I upgraded to KTS17 and that entry no longer appears in Trusted Applications. My PC seems to be running ok. Do I need to put svchost.exe back into Trusted Applications?

No, you can leave it alone. In previous versions, the exclusion was for Traffic > Encrypted, do not scan.

In the current version, that exclusion is built in, no need for further concern. :)
