KSC block Office 365 activation and connection [In progress]

Hi All,

we are experiencing in some of our workstation that KSC block the activation of Office 365 license for Office 2016.

 

After diable KSC, we were able to connect and activate the product. Then we restart KSC, but after a while Outllok 2016 was unable to contact the server to check the email.

 

Again, stop KSC, and Outlook start to connect correctly with the server.

 

There is some bug or particular setting for Office 2016 with Office 365?

 

Please find attached the trace log registered while Outlook connection was blocked.

KSC: 10.2.5.3201

 

Hello.

 

Did you mean KES 10.2.5.3201?

There is a known issue with Microsoft applications being unable to connect to Office 365 while WebAV is on.

It is solved with private patch pf1794 (for 10.2.5.3201).

 

To obtain it, please create a request in CompanyAccount and specify the issue.

Private patches are not released publicly. Instead, if the issue is confirmed to be affecting the product's operation regardless of user environment, the fixes they implement are included in the scope of major updates.

As with many of the issues for which private patches are built, not all hosts will necessarily have this problem.

This is not isolated to just a few incidences... KES 10.2.5.3201(MR3) is blocking Office365 Updates too.

PrivateFix 1794 is for KES 10.2.5.3201.

Is this problem resolved with KES SP2?
