Recommended Posts

Hi

I want know about hidden virus on flash memory, KES detect this virus and delete, but can't restore files.

My customer check it with Nod32 and restore files to normal type.

Why KES can't do it?

I am having same issue in which removable drive are moved to one folder which is super hidden.

which we can see only after changing the view option to show hidden file from folder option.

virus responsible for this Trojan.Agent.PB5

Other AV solution remove the folder and make file visible after disinfection of virus

To un-hide those files, open a command line console, and point it to the usb drive (for example F:). Then execute the following command :

attrib -h -s * /s /d

This command changes the file(s) (the * which means all files) attribues. (-h un-hide -s removes system file attribute from the file, /S /D to get executed recusively for every sub-folder)
