| Please, write down the product's localization in the beginning of the post. In some cases traces may be needed.

Check links in beta:

1. If you click the link, nothing happens or there is a drop, then it is a bug.

2. To check the redirect links You need to click on link button with disabled Inernet connection. If a link in the browser looks like

The Skip button doesn´t work.

After clicked Next until the end of intro, the Done button doesn´t work.

 

I can´t add the License because the License is missing button doesn´t work.

Here I want to complain some Simplified Chinese localization issues,

 

first

you can see the begin of install KTS

the dispaly of the Chinese characters are not good,i mean ugly......

Some strokes are too thick(it should not be so thick,there must be something wrong),making the these characters looks ugly.

One of your Chinese colleagues can identify the problem at a glance of the picture.

Dont know where i post my problem is better.

 

Sometimes,the 'application autorun at system start up' button will not work.Find it somedays ago,I have tried to get some traces and GSI.

 

Turn on trace,

uncheck 'application autorun'

reboot-avp start up when OS loaded;

 

avp will not autorun

turn on 'application autorun'

reboot-avp still not start up when OS loaded

I think the reason is wrong avp service status,soemtimes turn on/off autorun will not correctly change the service status.

Note:trace will be very big after decompressed because just open avp will generate big data.

This time I try to check/uncheck the application autorun. Once I check/uncheck the button,go to check avp service status.Find something:

service status looks will not change once the button is checked/unchecked,but need wait for a while.

if you reboot once disable/enable autorun,most likely,it wont work.

I know Kaspersky license strategy warning has changed in the last times, but since yesterday I started to get a warning that my license will expire in 13 days! the bad thing is that there is no way to IGNORE THE WARNING, and will continue with this annoying warning for 2 weeks???

 

I think that start warning users 2 WEEKS BEFORE their licenses expire and no way to ignore/disable the annoying warning is a bit unfair...

I would admit a setting to disable/ignore the license to expire the license 5 or 7 days before the expiry, but no 15 days before with no way to disable...

The strange thing is that yesterday at the end of the day suddenly I got my KAAS .158 again green status!!! and also got a new warning as the product it was activated again, and no more license warnings again :blink: :ai: probably because an update???

My joy in a well! license (11 days before) just came back again!

 

Updated: again yesterday the warning disappeared, it seems an erratic behaviour...

I have been getting this FUNNY UI many times in build 158

This time,I got avp and avpui dumps.

The problem happened after a failed KLAVA update.Unfortunately,traces are off.

traces were open after the problem occur,shows I rerun avp and wont fix.

 

 

I have found something more:

I reboot my laptop,the problem is still there,whats more?

right click K tray when os just boot and UI process not fully loaded,nothing happened,click again,UI process disappeared......

Double click desktop K icon to run UI,done.gray button still there.

 

After somewhile,just when I type these words to report my findings,buttons back to normal.

Hello

 

I have reproduced the 'gray button' problem from the very beginning,now i believe it may caused by after an update exit avp and rerun it.

 

Open trace-700level

exit avp and rerun it

no abnormal

do an update

exit avp and rerun it

gray button was shown

manually generate avpui dump by kavlog.exe

end trace

generate GSI6 report

'Kaspersky lab' logo is very blurry when app loading

Feedback from developer after analyze your traces:

The product disables some menu items if it not connected to UCP

Service cannot connect to UCP because of network timeout

You need to check network environment and product configuration.
