Licence expired [1779319] [Solved]

Hello,

 

this post is a translation from what I already posted in the German Business forum:

I dared to update my enviroment to KSC 10.3.407 and now the "localhost" (where KSC is installed) shows under managed computers status "licence expired":

Used versions are:

"Kaspersky Security Center" 10 10.3.407

"Kaspersky Security Center 10 Administrationsagent" 10.3.407

"Kaspersky Security 10 für Windows Server" 10.0.0.486 + Critical Fix (KB12662)

 

In "Kaspersky Security 10 für Windows Server" the correct licence is deployed and shown with expiration Dec 2016:

Deleting the licence and reinstall it did not help...

Anyone an idea?

What version of KSC and client did you upgrade from? Did you do an in-place upgrade or did you remove the older version first?

This happened to me also but I usually remove everything, reinstall and restore the database. I noticed that when I uninstalled KSC including SQL Express, it broke KAV8WSEE (realtime protection became inactive and the icon turned gray). So, I uninstalled KAV8WSEE and the corresponding console, rebooted and then installed KS10, KB12662, and KS10 console and rebooted again. That seemed to have fixed it for me.

I did an in-place upgrade from KSC 10.2 Patch D. After that, I think I removed KAV8WSEE before installation, but I'm not sure...

 

Maybe kavremover will do the trick... I'll keep you updated!

Don't forget to install the plug-in for KS10 as Dmitry alluded to because it does not come with KSC10.3 but is included with the KS10 install package.

A reinstall did not help... after reboot I had use *.key to activate the program.

Seems like an error in database, because the OS is not shown...

We don't ask the key properties, we need key usage report.

Please check time settings in the problem host.

The server with the licence problem is the localhost of the security center - so the time settings are the same...

Hello.

 

Please also try the following: remove the KSWS key from KSC storage and activate it locally. The Network Agent should transfer the correct expiration date to KSC afterwards.

Please let us know the result.

sorry, I was on vacation.

The licence is installed on many different Servers, so I can't remove it from the KSC store.

But I could remove the installed licences from the local KSWS.

 

Redeploying the Key via KSC works and it is shown in KSWS.

In KSC the localhost keeps the status "licence expired"...

The nagent can be found under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\ but no klmover.exe...

Try to reconnect nagent on ksws host. klmover you can find here C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Network Agent.

The host is the KSC server.

It is localhost on KSC - so the agent is implemented with the KSC-installation and ther is no klmover...

Removed KSWS and installed a new installation package (with licence included) - same Problem:

 

Program is activated, it is the right licence but in KSC it is still "licence expired"

So i guess the flag in SQL-DB is not set probably...
