Hello.

Is this issue only present on a single host? In that case, please clarify if you have tried uninstalling it using kavremover (the version has been updated and now supports MR2)?

Thank you.

when updating any old version to the latest 10.2.4.674 i also get randomly the error message "kaspersky failed to unload application from ram". The only way to fix it for me is to run "taskkill /f /im avp.exe" before installing

Hi,

Please check "%ProgramData%\Kaspersky Lab" for the dump files.

Thank you!

Just to add to this, since i've ran into this issue more than once. Kaspersky becomes corrupt somehow and prevents Windows from working correctly after a new Windows 10 Build is installed, but this only happens if Kaspersky is installed during the Windows build upgrade.

If you remove Kaspersky prior to upgrading Windows build and then install it after the upgrade is done, i do not run into any issues.

I've replicated the issue a couple of times going from Windows 10 64bit Ent version 10.0.10240 to 10.0.10586

Also recently - from 10.0.10586 to 10.0.14295

Hi,

Is it possible to collect traces and event logs(kaspersky, system, application) during that update installation?

Thank you!

Same here, upgrading from MR1 to MR2, setup fails at 75% of all clients.

Sometimes a reboot helps.

But great on +2000 machines...

Using windows 7 btw.

I cant run KLAremover on all these devices, there must be a different solution.

any suggestions?

Hello.

Please specify what similarities your issue has with the topic starter's (error removing KES 10 SP1 MR2 from Windows 10 build 1511).

Note that if a reboot is required, you can perform one remotely using a KSC task.

Thank you.

Same issue here. About 1000 machines to upgrade and 75%+ fail. the "taskkill /f /im avp.exe" step mentioned above helps but you have to let them fail first you cant run this pro-actively

I also tried adding the machines to a test group where this policy for self-defense was turned off but this didn't help.

Kaspersky....FIX IT.

Hi, I'm new in the forum...

I'm writing because I managed to bypass the problem easily !!

- During the uninstallation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10.2.4.674 on my windows 10 home vers.1511 (Build 10586) i have the same error code.

- I simply start again the uninstallation and during it i forced manualy from task manager the closure of any kaspersky process...

that way I successfully uninstalled kaspersky...

Good Job

Hi,

I upgraded the KSC to 10.4.343 and clients to 10 SP2 remotely But some of the clients after upgrading became protection is off.

In task manager avp.exe is run but kaspersky is not running and when I trying remove it I got this error :

Error 27200. Failed to unload application from RAM.

I can remove Kaspersky by KAVremove manually But They are about 20 systems and Actually I want to know what is this error and how can I resolve it remotely.

They are using Win 7.

Thanks
