Install stops at 5 seconds [Closed]

After uninstalling Kaspersky Antivirus and trying to install a new download from Kaspersky the install stops at 5 seconds remaining. I left it for an hour and there was no change. I canceled the install and that went down to 5 seconds remaining and the that also stopped at 5 seconds remaining. I have to do a forced program closure and then a restart of my computer. I cannot open or run any applications when this is going on. Multiple restarts has not resolved the issue. Windows 7 application.

Your Windows Event Log is showing MSI errors, please check this : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed

I ran the Microsoft Install/Uninstall trouble shooter and it found multilple corrupted registry keys. It fixed them all and then I ran the Kaspersky install and it installed successfully. Thank you very much for your help.
