Internet Explorer 11

7 posts in this topic

Kaspersky Pure 3.0 worked with Internet Explorer 10 perfectly.

My Vindows 7 64 bit system automatically upgraded to Internet Explorer 11.

Since this I am unable to enter secure fields (Passwords, amounts, verification codes) using either the keyboard or Virtual keyboard

I have entered several websites into the trusted sites page ( Pure 3.0/Settings/Web Anti-Virus/Settings/Add)

The secure fields are still disabled.

Password Manager will successfully log into secure password protected sites with my credentials, however secure fields are still disabled.

When I use Google Chrome, there are no issues.

Does anyone have a cure for IE11?

Hello John,

I posted about this issue earlier this month and was advised to open a support ticket, which I did. Kaspersky's response was to add the URL for the site as a trusted site under the Web Anti-virus settings. Turning off Safe Money and Secure Data Input also work. On a Win 7 64 bit machine without a touch screen, I don't see where IE 11 makes a lot of difference anyway. Rather than lower my security level, I simply reverted back to IE 10. I also did a quick search of other Forums and this appears to be an issue for other vendors.

Thanks for the advice BC

I think I will continue using Google Chrome until Kaspersky issues a patch for IE11.

I read somewhere on the net that patch (d) (which was loaded automatically and I have application Version 13.0.2.558 (d)) was supposed to address IE11 issues, however secure fields are still disabled.

Thanks for the link!

The checkbox for enhanced protection Mode was already unchecked. OK/Reboot as per article. Secure field still disabled.

I note a warning on my Banks website as follows:

"We noticed you're using Internet Explorer 11, a new browser that we're working to support. At the moment, you may experience issues in EasyWeb. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience."

The problem may be website, IE11, or KaSperSky. No way of knowing?

I am using Google Chrome until bugs patched.
