Hard drives full of tmp files in crypto folder [In Progress]

We have same issue, can you please send the patch for INC # : INC000003469705 .

 

The folder :“C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KES10\temp\crypt” is growing and have consumed all the space. We are using KES 10.2.1.23. Please consider this as priority.

Hi, I've the problem with de crypt folder in one server 2012 with KES10.2.1.23. I need the patch to solve this.

 

By the way, previously, we had kes10.1 with same problem, we made the update to MR1 and the problem doesn't solves.

 

My ticket is: INC000003504312

Unfortunately, KES does not support encryption on server operating systems.

The problem was the file, was damage, someone gave me the right file.

Ok, I know, but, how can I solve the full disc problem then?

 

You might do so by switching to a supported configuration, or by not using unsupported components.

The support cannot guarantee that the patch will work on an OS it was not designed for, or even confirm that you have the same problem as the one patch solves.

 

UPD: It's okay if it works, just note that you are using it at your own risk.

I'm confused... I'm not using encryption, I'm using KES10MR1 with standard server configuration (without endpoint modules installed), support sent me a file (a damage one) so, I made a request for a new one, they know what's my OS (SVR 2012) and KES version (MR1) and the crypt folder problem? so, whats the solution? patch PF_502 or not?

Yes. Please excuse the confusion.

 

Patch PF502 solves the issue with the "crypt" folder, not an encryption issue.

You can deploy it on all hosts but please try on a few affected machines first.
