I created a report using GetSystemInfo & it was sent using the same program.

here's a link to the report:

http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...76b6b657ad9f751

I have the same problem as the people in these two threads:

so i tried everything mentioned in the links above, but no luck at all, problem remains the same.

ANY HELP PLEASE?!!!

The situation should be investigated by support. Please, create a request to tech.support and post here the number.

Please attach to the request GetSystemInfo 5 utility report.

Please submit Kaspersky AVPui.exe Crash Dumps. A detailed guide is available here - http://support.kaspersky.com/9033

When prompted to upload crash data to Kaspersky Lab click “Do not send”. Please note that we only need *Full.DMP files.

If possible, please compress the memory dump in an archive with maximum compression ratio.

Please upload it to our FTP - http://support.kaspersky.com/3047 or to any freeware file-hosting service and submit a download link.

Please note, that even though the article is labeled as "Kaspersky Anti-virus 2013", it fits all Kaspersky Home products, - Anti-Virus, Internet Security and Pure.

Hi I am member since today.

I have exactly the same problem like 'the kasperer'.

I bought a new Kaspersky IS2014 and try to install but whatever I did the result was the error (in german):

Die Ausnahme "unbekanter Softwarefehler" (0xe06d7363) ist in der Anwendung an der Stelle 0x75ef9696aufgetreten ...

I have als deinstalled the Microsoft NET Framework 4.0 as well as 4.5 but can not get the KIS2014 started.

If somebody is able to help me, please - best in german or at least "understandable" for a simple User and not an IT expert.

Thank you.

Works for me fine!

I had the same problem with version 14.0.0.4651aEN. I used this Cleanup Tool to uninstall and install new one from Microsoft site.

Did anyone ever get this resolved. Haven't used my new laptop in 2 weeks. Logged in and found my AV database was really out of date I clicked update. it restarted and now I get the avpui.exe application error. Tried using the clean up tool. It said it was successful. Tried installing new netframe and it says I already have it installed. I really don't need to be wasting hours on this.

Your GSI report indicates that Plan Two is needed for this issue. Please contact Tech Support, as I indicated in my previous post.

What a damn HEADACHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have THIS exact same problem. I just did a full reset yesterday. I also upgraded to 8.1. Just installed 3 "important" updates and upon reboot got the same error about avpui.exe. I did a screenshot and a System Info. Uploaded both to 'Support'.

OK, KIS is no longer in the tray but in Task Manager it shows 1 instance of KIS when normally there should be 2. So, am I just without the use of the GUI or do I at this point have no protection?

Tech Support told me to download the latest version (14.0.0.4651) and completely uninstall the version I had in. When uninstalling, do NOT save anything, settings or your activation code when it asks. This means you must have your current activation code to put back in when you reinstall Kaspersky.

For me, it cured the problem.
