Welcome. Please tell us more. Tell us about the malware issue. Are you able to install other software?

Please attach the zipped virusinfo_syscure.zip; instructions, see: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=678334

1. Click here to download the GetSystemInfo tool

2. Run getsysteminfo.exe. Choose where you wish to save the text file, the desktop is the easy choice.

3. Click here to upload your GetSystemInfo log.

4. Now add the link to the report you have just made in your post.

Welcome. "How to add link to the post as mentioned in step 4?"

Post the GSI Report here by one of two ways: Select to highlite the url of the report, at top of the report. Right click, copy, and paste it in your next post.

Or right click near upper right of the Report "url of this report". Drop down, click "copy shortcut/link location". When you are posting here, right click, Paste, Add reply.

Hello, I am having the same problem. This is the getsysteminfo report.

http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...b0207dbf1915280

My computer crashes to blue screen or says "client register error - 2147024894" everytime i try to run the Virus Removal Tool.

I am able to install everything so far.

I just uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security, since it pretty much stopped working awhile ago.

I am pretty sure I got some kind of virus but I need to know which one... and see if I can clean it up.

Please help!

I have the same issue in WXP enviroment.

I uninstalled the KAV because I'd a suspect that it was the cause of missed comunication between my notebook and remote server when need to syncronize.

It is not, but I wasn't able to install KAV anymore, neither after to run kavremover.exe several time.

At now :

KAV install process abort

kasperskyvirusremover_11.0.0.1245.x01_2013_03_09_20_35.exe process abort with message "error message is client register error -2147021894"

while in windows service mode intterupt with blue screen

Same issue. My aunt was having difficulty with her computer so I was downloading the Virus Removal Tool to save on a jump drive to check it. It saved fine, but when I tried to open, a blue screen popped up and I had to shut down the computer. On restart, I tried to run the program again and got the Client Registration Error -2147024894. Below is my GSI link. I haven't been having any issues downloading other programs. Just downloaded Internet Security with no trouble not too long ago. Thanks for any help!!!

Hello Everybody, for me, it was easy to fix the problem: I have done the following steps: 1.) uninstall all previous versions from Kaspersky, but you can save the settings, if it will be asked! 2.) Download the latest version from Kaspersky's SUPPORT Website for free (Upgrade). For me it was the Version Antivirus 2013. 3.) Install with Kaspersky's setup. 4.) activate with the activation code you have got for your previous Version. 5.) enjoy! I hope this manual was helpful for you! If it was, please feel free to give me a short feedback, or simply say thanks. Kind Regards Karsten
