Kaspersky for Windows XP Embedded

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I would like to ask regarding the Kaspersky AV on Windows XP Embedded.

I"ve tried to install the application on this type of OS by following this instruction on the Kaspersky Forum

http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showt...p;#entry1721882

The installation was successful as well as the updating of Kaspersky, however, upon startup, the application has started but it indicates "Protection of your computer is disabled".

When I try to enable it, it just turns back to disabled.

Help. How can I enable the Kaspersky protection on my Windows XP Embedded computers?

If it is now possible what can you suggest I should do to be able to get Kaspersky working in this kind of operating system.

Please treat this as an urgent matter thank you.

regards,

Kate Raymundo

Hello Everyone,

Any ideas??

Another question,

We have 300 Kaspersky licenses, however it doesnt support the Kaspersky version 6.0.2 or later. I want to have 10 licenses for Kaspersky 6.0.2.

Can I convert 10 of my 300 license to run for lower version of Kaspersky?Any inputs are welcome. Thank you

Hi Raymundo,

I think your system is infected with virus. If you installed and updated kaspersky successfully, Then first you run full scan and clean your system. then restart your system.

Hi Helmut,

Our license is a commercial one, which Ive tried on using with Kaspersky AV MP4, yes it worked fine, but for some reason the Protection of my computer is disabled.

Hi,

You have to use the last gsi version 4.1.0.245, not the old version 3.

And post your avz log.

Regards

Review the gsi, all say doesn´t have any Kaspersky product.

Memory isn´t enough, you have only: 247,496 Mb

Review the system requirements:

http://support.kaspersky.com/wks6mp4?level=3

Yes, it is true that I dont have enough memory, but on the first GSI log that I had, it have Kaspersky on it, but for some reason the log is incomplete and doesnt show any applications installed.

It´s versión 3, for this reason v4 needed, but you say doesn´t work.

The problem, at the moment, is the memory.

I have other workstation with higher memory, but still the same error. I just cant post the logs now because the computer is currently unavailable.

How about downgrading my license to apply with Kaspersky V.6.0.2?

There is no need to downgrade the license. Can you post the exact error when you try to install the license file.

Hi Guys,

actually I dont have an error when I use my license file with Kaspersky AV v.6.0.4 but the error that I had after that is that the computer protection is disabled.

While, when I use the Kaspersky AV v.6.0.2, i cannot use my license file, but the protection is enabled, the kaspersky is working, but i dont have a valid license for it.\

did you get me guys?
