How to delete .iso file

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm sure this is something simple but I can't seem to figure it out.

I just created a rescue disk for the first time, from Kaspersky Pure. All went well and I burned the .iso file to a CD using Nero.

The .iso file is quite large and I try to keep unnecessary clutter on my C: drive to a minimum so I now want to delete the file from my hard drive.

When I try to delete the file, I get a message saying access is denied. At the moment, I can't seem to work out how to get rid of it.

Anyone know what I need to do to delete the file?

Thanks,

e.

It is not on the root of C, but in a Kaspersky Lab folder, correct?

Have you tried booting into Safe mode? Or temporarily disabling PURE Self Defense, then exiting PURE? (re-enable Self Defense when done)

Yes, the file was in a Kaspersky Lab folder.

Disabling self-defense did the trick.

Thanks.
