Adobe flash player

6 posts in this topic

It seems whenever I try to download the latest flash player, Kaspersky intercepts and will not allow the download. I've uninstalled flash and tried to reinstall. Also read to download adobe reader first, but that didn't work either. Glad my computer's safe, but really would like to have flash. Please help, thank you

are you sure it is the kaspersky that blocks your adobe products download? i just did a clean uninstall and reinstall of adobe flash and shockwave yesterday but never had any problems.. you might wanna try to put the adboe installers in the trusted zone and see if it'll work..

Hi. What version is this? :)

If 2009 open KIS main console and check: settings(upper right)>system security>firewall settings>application tab. Check to see if the adobe flash installer is restricted or untrusted. If so then move it to trusted status.

If 2010 then: open KIS>My protection>application activity(right side)>use the drop down menu and select restricted to see if the installer is restricted there.
