Netsupport Manager

Recommended Posts

Hello

i use a program called netsupport manager to control PC across our domain

in the last few days Kaspersky see's a DLL (pcihooks.dll) as a virus

i have tried entering this into a exceptions list but it seems to get deleted again after the on-demand scan

is there a way i can make a full exception to either Allow this virus of anything to do with PCIHOOKS.DLL?

attached are some screen shots of what i have so far

any help would be greatly appreciated....its a 24 hour call out plant and at the moment i cannot control the systems inside

Cheers

The verdict is incorect.

Please look into the statistic on the server for the right syntax.

Then you must check the modules for this exclusion. You have only file-anti-virus selected.

Caos, i tried putting the DLL and the main EXE it uses into a file and performing a full single scan on it and nothing is found....it but see it as it activates or the service is started? as it has a service for the Client32.exe

We submitted a false positive report on this one to Kasperksy UK late on Friday afternoon, but they said the Kaspersky Lab was already aware of it and indicated that it would probably be corrected in the next definitions update released a few hours later. They might well have done that.

It's really annoying because the computer is restarting when this happens...
