  1. Hi, I've got a KSC 10SP3 (latest release) installed on Windows 2016 server. I'm trying to desploy Windows OS (W10) to a bare metal machine (I've got the KSC license and the firewall is off on the KSC machine that must act as PXE server (I've installed on the KSC server the WIndows ADK for Windows 10 and select to install the deployment tools and Windows PE). Then I've created an installation package from a Windows 10 DVD image. I've then assigned the PXE role to my KSC server and added a device MAC address with assigned the package created before. On the same network of the bare metal machine I've got the DHCP server on another server and KSC is on the same network (no PXE options are specified in DHCP server). When i start the bare metal machine, I see the bootp requests on the networks, but after a while there is the message error that no PXE boot file has been found. I need to configure the DHCP options for the PXE on the DHCP server? I've read in the forum that is no more necessary in the latest relases of KSC. If I try to configure on WIndows 2016 server the Windows Deployment Services, my bare metal machine during the boot find this PXE server, so is my KSC 10 that is not acting as PXE Server..... How to debug in more detail the problem? Thanks

  3. From the cloud console of Kaspersky has begun the update of KES 11 in the Windows machines (7 and 10). It does not update any machine to version 11, it simply throws continuous errors and none is updated. Does anyone know what this error is?
  4. Hello, I'm receiving this message on my Server 2012. It deletes the file. The message re-appears. Any thoughts? We are using the following version.   13. In my Administration Server Properties is a section Application categories. Inside Application category propagation mode has two options: Full data transmission (for Network Agents Service Pack 2 and earlier) and Transmission of modified data only (for Network Agents Service Pack 2 and later). My current versions of NA is in my signature, currently it's the latest. How can I know is my NA Service Pack 2 or not? Because problem is when I choose Transmission of modified data only (for Network Agents Service Pack 2 and later) on some Workstations list of whitelisted directories became empty in Application Startup Control (ASC) and started to prevent launch almost any executables.

Hi, After installing kes11 on dell laptop blue screen error coming. we have tried both kes11 & kes10sp2mr2 the issue remaining same. but there is no issue while installing kes10sp1mr4. but we want to go with the latest version. kindly help. Hello, i'm looking for an information about the security check of removable device as usb, because in KES 10.2 the scan was protected by password, so users were unable to stop it without password. On version 11 this protection isn't availble so users can stop the auto scan of usb, (without a password request), creating security risks for the company. Health be upon you, Some while ago, the title product ask to install an update, so I clicked the bottom right corner and accepted, then the icon in the system tray disappeared, reinstalled either failed or didn't help, I then installed kaspersky internet security. Then the trial period expired and now I'm back to the suffering. trying to install the 56 encryption version, nags that "the installed aes-256 encryption libraries do not correspond to the aes-56 encryption libraries in this package." trying to install the 256 encryption version, nags that "the installed aes-56 encryption libraries do not correspond to the aes-256 encryption libraries in this package" knowing that I tried before that to install end point 11 mistakenly and it still would not install, and in the end just reverting to the pre installation. what to do?
  17. Hi, as described at https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/383129-device-control-forbidden-devices/, I have the following problem: On several computers the using of CD-ROMs is forbidden. Until KES 10 SP1 MR4 the user only got a message about the blocked device when he wanted to use the CD-ROM. In KES 10 SP2 the behavior changed and the user got a message several times a day. Sometimes he only starts Word or Excel and the message windows popped up. A opened a ticket at the Company account half a year ago. The supporter told me: The development team is informed (Ticket INC000007707334). The last answer was: The message itself is legitimate, due to the changes in KES 10 SP2 which treat device control differently. Instead of preventing these events from appearing, KES 11 should have the option to group events of the same type and contents which occur within the specified interval, and only send a single notification. Where can I do it?
  18. Hi, with KES 10 SP2 with some applications we have had several performance problems. With the beta versions of kes 11 they are gone away. No I installed 11.0.0.6499 and I have the same problems as with KES 10 SP2. It's a problem with network traffic. With KES 11 FR the devices have much more network traffic as with the beta versions.   19. Hi all. I had the Kaspersky Security Center installed on a virtual machine, virtualized with VMWare but the host where it was the virtual machine got damaged and the VM got lost. In this case is there is any way to recover the policies, devices groups etc like before? Or do I have to install the KSC from scratch and uninstall the agents from the devices and install it again one by one? Greetings!

Dear Support, KSC 10.5.1781 KES 11 Agent 10.5.1781 Kaspersky 10.1.0.622 for server kaspersky 10.1.0.622 with patch core 1 installed on the windows server 2003 SP2. the service kavfswp takes high disk usage on the system. most of the times the server crashes and users can not work on it. we had this problem when kaspersky 10.0.0.486 with core 19 installed on the server before. even when we upgraded to kaspersky 10.1.0.622 with patch core 1 , still have the problem. how can we solve the issue?   21. Hello, I have this tablet made by ReMarkable. Today the Desktop companion software (snycing) was quarantined by Kaspersky and it said pdm trojan.win32.generic I understand this may be a false positive> How do you find out? what are my next steps to ensure it doesn't happen again? Is it false? All help on this appreciated. After this happened I went to a different computer on a different internet address and ran Kaspersky scan and it did not detect problem on unconnected machine (however both machines sync to the tablet via the cloud.)

    Patch Management

    I will have to enable patch management feature in my environment. My environment includes the following: 1- 2500 endpoints with Windows 10, 8, 8.1 and 7 installed. (Around 1000 endpoints are on remote locations) 2- 1500 servers with Windows Server 2012 R2, 2008, 2008 R2 installed. I want to know what things keep in mind when configuring patch management, and also the best practices.
  24. recently I'm struggling to install new Network Agent 10.5.1781 version over 10.4.343 through Kaspersky Security Center on some machines. I'm getting "Error while starting the installation package for the application". Statistics looks like this: When I made a standalone package of the Network Agent setup and tried to install locally on one of the machines, I get the same error: Logs of this local install are attached.
