  1. Thanks! Not having any specific problems but I do notice that KIS is bit of a CPU hog on one my my laptops and now that KIS is up for renewal I am wondering on Norton 360 compares to KIS since I heard its has a lighter foot print.
  2. Hi, I am not sure if KIS is the correct suite for me anymore. There seems to be many problems with it in regards to high CPU usage to slow PC's down due to its background services. I am wondering if/why I should renew my license or go with something else like Norton or something better? - Ken
  3. Thanks for the confirmation! I installed it on one of my XP PRO SP2 boxs and it seems to be running smooth. I am able to view my workgroup machines...
  4. Ok this is really confusing...i am new to KIS and from all I had read its suppose to be the best, but I am having some major issues that I have never seen while i was running Trend Micro. Issues: 1) after inputting passed while returing from Standby mode, computer freezes and I have to do a hard reboot. If KIS is dsiabled everything works fine. 2) Problems with viewing workgroup computers, I had to download (klim5.sys) to resolve this issue, not sure if I am suppose to do when i move to the new .321 version. - Ken
  5. whats new in KIS 7.0.1.132? Can anyone provide a list of updates or fixes that have been done in KIS 7.0.1.132 from the previous verison? I see everyone jumping to download it but I dont see anywhere if its worth the upgrade. - Ken
  6. Has this issue fixed in kis 7.0.0.132? If not after install 132 do I have to replace the klim5 file again? - Ken
  7. I dont see the link for the new verison on http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates
  8. I have Version 7.0.0.125. I am not sure if its firewall or proactive defense that is cuasing it because I turned off the entire protection and it seemed to fix the issue...
  9. I have KIS 7. When trying to get back into windows from standby mode, after I fill in my password and hit enter windows XP home freezes and I am not able to do anything but reboot the machine by holding down the power button. It seems like its related to KIS because when i disable protection the issue is not there. I have a Dell Vostro 1500. Windows XP home SP 2. Less then 1 month old. Please advice.
