  1. Hey thanks, I was worried because both reports in that image I posted were apparently caused by the same thing so I thought it was multiplying or something (which would explain why I couldn't access stuff while Kaspersky was disinfecting, so it doesn't spread, but I wanted to make sure). I'm not very good with computers. Nothing beats peace of mind though, thank you again.
  2. Hello, I have been using Kaspersky Free for almost half a year and have been very pleased so far, every virus or malware being swiftly found and dealt with. However, today I ran into an event and I am not sure what to make of it. Kaspersky Free has found a Trojan in a subfolder of Windows, then proceeded to disinfect it. However, during this disinfection procedure I found myself with some restrictions imposed upon my computer: if I tried to open the Trojan file location (either through Kaspersky or manually) then the folder would instantly close, and in addition to this, right-clicking on an unrelated application's icon in the taskbar would show me a drop-down list, but with the normal options replaced by a single weird symbol. The disinfection lasted for about 5 minutes during which Kaspersky Free looked like it was performing a Quick Scan, and when it finished my computer promptly got rebooted with no user input. After said reboot my computer has had no issues, I even did a full scan with both Kaspersky Free and MalwareBytes with no hits. But I'm still weirded out by that experience since Kaspersky has always asked if I wanted to reboot before. So my question is, is this standard procedure or did something go wrong?
