  1. UPDATE For all those that might have a similar issue and were looking at this. I was in contact with Kaspersky Support for a month and after sending over ~25GB worth of dump files, they diagnosed the problem as a "[...] compatibility issue between Web Policy Management in Kaspersky and Azure AD technology in Windows." "Sadly there is no good solution to this issue for now but it will be fixed in Kaspersky Small Office Security 6.0 release" Hopefully this may help you.
  2. I believe the software may've been interrupted the first time, I think it worked this time round: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file=8412232e3f6678cb01dd4d64b7031ae2
  3. Here is the link to my GetSystemInfo report: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file=f184043cbaef649604cd117d1bf505ff
  4. I have an issue every time I start or restart my laptop (Windows 10 Pro Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.540)) where a Kaspersky Support popup appears informing me "Previous application launch failed." It doesn't give any information as to the cause or any way to resolve to issue, only to send the diagnostic and trace information back to Kaspersky. See the attached image for details. After analysing the log file "C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\dumpwriter.log", I saw a recurring entry corresponding to the times I turn my laptop on. They're all of the form: === Logging started at Wed Sep 06 08:37:17 2017 08:37:17.481 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] kldw.exe: Failed to get status 4 08:37:17.482 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Dumps folder cleanup started: max dumps count = 15, required free space = 200 Mb 08:37:17.482 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Search file mask: 'C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KAV*.dmp' 08:37:17.482 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_08.30_08.35_7184.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7184, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_08.31_08.47_14388.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 14388, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.01_08.33_7476.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7476, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.04_08.34_3660.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 3660, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.05_08.39_7904.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7904, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.05_11.57_7904.GUI1.full.dmp', pid: 7904, indexInSequence: 1 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] GetDiskFreeSpaceEx: free space for disk with 'C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\' folder is 162248085504 bytes 08:37:17.483 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] == Successful == 08:37:17.484 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Writing C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.06_08.37_21704.GUI0.full.dmp... 08:37:17.484 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] SetDebugPrivilege: Debug privilege acquired 08:37:17.485 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] 1:0:0:NtReadVirtualMemory(ProcessHandle:0x00000CE8 (pid:21704, ret:0x103), BaseAddress:0x1090E494, Buffer:0x00CFF1B8, BufferSize:8, NumberOfBytesRead:0x00CFF134->8) failed 0x00000000 08:37:17.485 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] 2:0:0:NtReadVirtualMemory(ProcessHandle:0x00000CE8 (pid:21704, ret:0x103), BaseAddress:0x1090EAC8, Buffer:0x00CFEF84, BufferSize:80, NumberOfBytesRead:0x00CFEE68->80) failed 0x00000000 08:37:17.485 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] 3:0:0:NtReadVirtualMemory(ProcessHandle:0x00000CE8 (pid:21704, ret:0x103), BaseAddress:0x1090EB18, Buffer:0x016307D0, BufferSize:716, NumberOfBytesRead:0x00CFEE68->716) failed 0x00000000 08:37:17.586 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] NtOpenProcess(ProcessHandle:0x00000330) 08:37:17.587 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] 4:0:0:NtReadVirtualMemory(ProcessHandle:0x00000330 (pid:21704, ret:0x103), BaseAddress:0x775E7C0C, Buffer:0x00CFE8F8, BufferSize:4, NumberOfBytesRead:0x00CFE890->4) failed 0x00000000 08:37:17.587 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] 5:0:0:NtReadVirtualMemory(ProcessHandle:0x00000330 (pid:21704, ret:0x103), BaseAddress:0x00FE4738, Buffer:0x00CFE8F8, BufferSize:4, NumberOfBytesRead:0x00CFE890->4) failed 0x00000000 08:37:21.729 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Writing C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.06_08.37_21704.GUI0.full.dmp succeeded (423425470 bytes). 08:37:21.732 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] NtOpenProcess(ProcessHandle:0x000002EC) 08:37:21.733 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] GetCrashInfoFromProcess: \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Small Office Security 17.0.0\avpui.exe, Kernelbase.dll.mui 08:37:21.734 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Dumps folder cleanup started: max dumps count = 15, required free space = 200 Mb 08:37:21.734 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Search file mask: 'C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KAV*.dmp' 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_08.30_08.35_7184.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7184, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_08.31_08.47_14388.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 14388, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.01_08.33_7476.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7476, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.04_08.34_3660.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 3660, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.05_08.39_7904.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 7904, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.735 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.05_11.57_7904.GUI1.full.dmp', pid: 7904, indexInSequence: 1 08:37:21.736 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Previous dump file found: 'KAV.17.0.0.611g_09.06_08.37_21704.GUI0.full.dmp', pid: 21704, indexInSequence: 0 08:37:21.736 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] GetDiskFreeSpaceEx: free space for disk with 'C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\' folder is 161823764480 bytes 08:37:21.736 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] == Successful == 08:37:21.736 [PID 0x532C] [TID 0x2F20] Processing finished 09:53:56.522 [PID 0x3548] [TID 0x3568] The .dmp files are the ones referenced in the error, but I can't ascertain what the problem is from this. Each entry is pretty much the same, but I'm attaching the log file regardless. The strange thing is is that the software suite itself works fine afterwards as far as I'm aware, so maybe it's not a critical component that's at fault? Nothing is reported in the software. I'm using Kaspersky Small Office Suite 5 (17.0.0.611(g)) with up-to-date database definitions (06/09/2017 04:40) with all of the browsers and the Internet Explorer plugin installed. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, scanned, updated, installed the Internet Explorer addon (some people have said to downgrade IE 10 or something?) all to no avail. Any advice? dumpwriter.log
