  1. I have Kaspersky Total Security for 10 devices. I use KPM and have my own vault. I wanted to allow my mother to create her own KPM vault so she can store her passwords separately from mine. I created a separate account for her on KPM, however, after logging into her account, another screen pops up asking for my master password (the one that I use for my own vault) After typing that in, I instantly log-in into my vault, and suddenly her e-mail address is showing in my vault. I would like to know how to create a 2nd or a separate master password for her so she can have her own vault separate from mine. We use 2 different laptops and seeing as I have KTS for 10 devices, I think it should be possible to have different vaults. Is it possible to create a masterpassword/vault for her separately?
  2. I have Kaspersky Total Security for 10 devices. I use KPM. I wanted to allow my mother to create her own vault so she can store her passwords separately from mine. I created an account for her on KPM, however, after logging into her account, another screen popped up asking for the master password (which is the same password I use to get in my vault). After typing that in, I got into my vault, but her e-mail address showed up in my vault. Is it possible to create a masterpassword/vault for her separately?
  3. How about if a keylogger on my laptop manages to get my password which I use to log-in to KPM and has access to all my passwords. Would they be able to enter My Kaspersky if the password of My Kaspersky is not saved in KPM? If the answer to that is NO, would they be able to reset the password of my KPM and lock me out of my own vault if the password for My Kaspersky is not in my KPM? I guess if the answer to the latter is yes, then there is no increased risk for losing access to my phone if somehow my KPM password was hijacked. Because I think if I lose my phone somewhere, people won't go through KPM to find My Kaspersky, unless if they are sneaky. So that gives me enough time to go on my laptop and lock my phone through My Kaspersky. Cause I can't think of another way to remember the password to My Kaspersky to be able to lock my phone using my laptop instantly if I'm outside my house. Cause I can't take a note with the password on it with me.
  4. I have connected My Kaspersky to my android, allowing it to lock my phone and erase everything. That's a big deal, so I don't want to increase the chance of anyone getting a hold of my password for My Kaspersky. I have even used an exclusive e-mail address for My Kaspersky. My question: if I save My Kaspersky account + password in my KPM (which uses the same My Kaspersky account), will this increase the chance of anyone getting a hold of this password? I think so right? Because I also have KPM on my phone, and it seems that you only have to enter the master password after you restart phone (correct?), so if someone gets a hold of my phone, they have access to the account information of My Kaspersky aswell right?
  5. Usually when I want to log into a website, I have to click on the green key to pick my account, and then it automatically fills in the password and logs me in. However, on certain websites, when I go on the log-in page, my account's username/email address is already filled in and there's a green key next to it. However, the password box is empty, and there's no green key next to it. Even if I click the green key next to my username and pick my account, the password still won't be filled in. So in these cases, I have to open my KPM manually and search my account to login. An example of one of these sites is iherb.com.
  6. When I am shopping online and want to pay, Kaspersky opens a secure browser. Sometimes, after completing the payment on the secure browser (through bank or paypal), it brings me back to the homepage of the shop's website. It turns out, that whenever this happens, the payment is not completed. It's buggy, although this may only be the case on certain websites. Is this a known issue?
  7. I have loads of gmail addresses on my KPM. So when I want to log into gmail, there's a whole list of addresses to choose from. Before the update, the list would show about 15 addresses, with an option to scroll down to see the rest. However, with the new update, the list only shows 4, with the option to scroll down to see the rest. Here's the thing... the side bar (that allows me to scroll down) is so small, that it's easy to miss-click. And if I want to use my mouse-wheel to scroll down, I have to spin the wheel so many times just to scroll down a bit. So the update, really did a bad thing on this. Is there a fix for it? On a good note, the KPM update, was REALLY GOOD in other regards! So my compliments for that! I always wanted a way to categorize websites in certain folders and have the option to search a password in KPM and now that's possible.
  8. I have KTS and whenever I try to scan, it gets stuck on 1%. I have automatic update on on and it's up to date.
  9. Sometimes when I try to log into gmail, by clicking on the "key" and selecting the gmail account I want to log in with, it goes to a page where it says "enter phone number". Whereas other times, when I select a gmail account to log in with, it directly goes to the page where you need to enter the password, while it enters the password automatically and I enter my gmail account. How can I do it so that everytime when I select a gmail account it logs me in automatically instead of having to enter a phone number?
  10. I already bought it yesterday. I appreciate your responses though. I will contact Kaspersky tomorrow. Hypothetically, if you buy it from a 3rd party seller who's up to no good, is it possible that Kaspersky would seem to "work" to a non-trained eye, but in fact is working like a spyware or something?
  11. Apparently I can not register from Europe (using the USA site). Also when I enter that site, sometimes I can't because it says the site is not secure. Edit: I found an even better deal on amazon.co.uk by Kaspersky Lab: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kaspersky-Total-Security-Devices-Android/dp/B01LEI1BKE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503163420&sr=8-1&keywords=kaspersky%2Btotal%2Bsecurity%2Bmulti%2Bdevice&th=1 10 devices for 26 pounds. Can someone confirm to me that this can be used in The Netherlands and whether this is the multi-device license? I am looking to use it on PC's, android smartphone, android tablet, windows tablet, iphone and ipad.
  12. Some websites that I visit, are apparently not secure (no https). So whenever I want to create an account/change password or login, it says "this connection is not secure... ". Apparently, any password filles in could potentially be stolen. My question is if I could use KPM to work around it. Can I use KPM to create a secure password then just somehow enter that without having to type it, and will this stop people from being able to steal the password (as I am not typing it)? And an even more important question, if I log into KPM from that "insecure" site, can they potentially get access to my KPM vault?
  13. I would like to know how to setup KTS and malwarebytes 3.1.2 to use NordVPN effectively without interverence too.
  14. I have KTS and NordVPN. Is there any merit in purchasing Kaspersky Secure Connection? Also after reading about the Hotspot Shield fiasco I think I am better off with NordVPN. Additional question: Is there a VPN in KTS? If so, how do I turn it off so that it doesn't intervene with my NordVPN?
  15. On-screen keyboard: - Open on-screen keyboard by typing ctrl+alt+shift+p - Show quick launch icon in data entry fields Secure keyboard input: - Enable secure keyboard input All 3 are enabled. When I click on "edit categories", all are enabled except for "Internet communication media" I don't really know what "secure keyboard input has been enabled" means, but it still doesn't show up in Chrome. Need to look into how to use KPM correctly.
  16. I have "autoplay" turned off. I would like to scan my external harddrives before connecting to them. I usually scan with Kaspersky Total Security first, then scan it again with Malwarebytes. Do I have to wait till KTS scan is finished or can I run both (KTS & Malwarebytes) at the same time without having them intervene with eachother?
  17. Is there any chance that Kaspersky works more optimally if I download it from my own country? I.e. maybe it is designed that way to scan for more threats prevalent in your own country? Since I don't know anything about these stuff, I probably wouldn't find out if it is working optimally or not after I purchase the USA version so trying to be sure of it before I purchase it.
  18. So does that mean I can get my Kaspersky Total Security from the USA site if I live in The Netherlands and am going to use it in The Netherlands?
  19. I found this website where you can purchase Kaspersky at an incredibly low price. However, the products offered (such as Total Security for 10 devices), are not found on the official Kaspersky site. Also, it says you can buy Kaspersky for 5 devices for merely $49.99. I would like to know if this is legit or a phishing site. If it's the latter, please help me find out if I was exposed to any virusses/malware by entering the site. https://usa.kaspersky.com/home-security?affiliate=CJ_NAM&PID=2210202&utm_source=CJ&utm_medium=affiliate&CAMPAIGN=CJ50005487
  20. Does Kaspersky Total Security detect and scan for malware too or is it purely an anti-virus?
  21. Merci for your answer. I installed the extensions on both of the links. Everytime I want to log into i.e. my google account on firefox, it says " secure keyboard input has been enabled " in the box where I need to fill in my password. However, it doesn't say this on Chrome. Why is this so? KPM seems to be working on Chrome. There's a little key next to the password box, if I click on it, I can choose between different e-mail addresses, and if I click on the right one, the password is filled in automatically. However, after I log in, there's a small window in my browser saying: "Do you want Google Chrome to save your password for this site?". Does this pop-up belong to KPM or is this solely Chrome? If its' the latter... do you recommend to answer "no" if I want better security?
  22. I have searched the web but still got none the wiser. I am using Kaspersky Total Security, would it increase my security to add an anti-malware such as Malwarebytes 3 or Emsisoft? I am afraid that these programs will intervene with each other, as they state that they have live protection, and Kaspersky Total Security does too. I read somewhere that Kaspersky Total Security's live protection is purely anti-virus, and that of malwarebytes or Emsisoft's live protection are purely anti-malware. Is that correct? And if so, does it matter which Malwarebytes or Emsisoft version I download? Cause I think their different versions might have like an anti-virus included in it, but I can't make that out from their website. Thank you in advance.
  23. I installed Kaspersky's password manager and it asked me if I wanted to import the passwords of Firefox into it. I didn't have Chrome installed at that time so it didn't give me the option to import Chrome. However, I installed Chrome afterwards. How do I set it up now so that Kaspersky's password manager is connected to Chrome? Also important note: Chrome asked me if I want to turn on Chrome Sync etc. after I installed Kaspersky's password manager, I clicked "undo". Was this wise to increase my security? And will Kaspersky's password manager still work even though I turned this off? Because, whenever I want to enter my password on Firefox, it says " secure keyboard input has been enabled ", however it doesn't say this when I want to enter a password on Chrome.
