  1. Just chiming in that I too have the same problem with multiple "SSL Connection with invalid certificate detected" messages after starting Chrome for the first time.
  2. I have been using KMS on 5 mobile devices and have been very satisfied with the functionality. I especially liked the SMS find:XXXX command feature that would allow me to locate these devices in stealth mode. It was a good way for me to check up on my children. I recently upgraded to v 10.4.45 hoping to "fix" a problem I was having (the devices would lock by themselves). I noticed in the new version that the SMS commands now lock the device in addition to locating it. I can no longer locate my devices in stealth mode. While the main reason I purchased KMS was for the anti-virus and anti-theft capabilities, the stealth locate command was a very useful feature. Are there any plans to reinstate this feature?
  3. 2 of my devices with KMS (v10.1.32) have locked by themselves over the past month. Both were locked at the same time on July 17th. I did not send any commands. Is there any reason for this?
  4. I have just installed 2009 over version 7 on twp PCs and noticed that the Trusted Applications list on both machines have an entry for an application named by a single letter with only the letter as the path. It is set to "Not monotor application activity". What is it? Should I delete it?
  5. Yes. I have children who use the computer and Parental Control is one of the tools I look for in an Internet Security package. I'm not sure how well the Kaspersky version works, but it's got to be better than nothing (except for the slowdown).
  6. Browsing on my local network (i.e. to my router) is very slow when Parental control is turned on. I am using KIS v7.0.0.125 on Windows XP Pro and using IE for web browsing. I tried turning off individual protection modes in KIS to isolate the problem. The problem seems to be connected with the Parental Controls section. My Windows account is listed in the Parents section, so I assume that the web content is not limited by KIS as stated on the options page. When I disable Parental Control, I have no problems. When I re-enable it, It slows to a crawl again. Could it be related to downloading (small) images on the router admin page? Any suggestions?
  7. I though that no web browser checking would be performed if the user was in the Parent class. Something is going on because there is a significant web download speed reduction when logged in as a Parent and the Parental Controls are on. I tried to fiqure out how to create custom profiles, but it appears that although there are instructions in the help file to create custom profiles, the interface doesn't allow it. This PC Mag article discusses it: PC Mag KAS 7.0 Parental Control Article One of the reasons I use these products is for parental control. It looks like I have to put up with the sluggishness and wait for an upgrade for it to work properly.
  8. Should I have opened a new thread for my version of this issue? I didn't want it to be worked on twice. Please let me know what the correct etiquette is.
  9. I am having the same problem. It seems to have started within the past week or so after I activated my Trial version with a license code that I purchased. I am using KIS v7.0.0.125 on Windows XP Pro and using IE for web browsing. I tried turning off individual protection modes in KIS. The problem seems to be connected with the Parental Controls section. My Windows account is listed in the Parents section, so I assume that the web content is not limited by KIS as stated on the options page. When I disable Parental Control, I can surf. When I re-enable it, I can't. Any suggestions?
