  1. Hi, Will the device control stop working on clients after the license for KES gets expired ? And what other functionality gets affected when license expires for KES ans KSC ?

  3. I have 2 questions. Firstly, what is the functionality of KSC admin server key ? I mean even if i don't add the key in ksc admin server i don't find anything different from when i add its key. (I am not talking about key for clients) Secondly, in admin server's option for CONFIGURE FUNCTIONALITY DISPLAYED IN USER INTERFACE, there are options for configuring UI like Display Endpoint control settings etc. What does the following options do: Display Systems Management Display Security Settings Sections
  4. I finally found the solution to this problem today. Thanks for pointing out about the UDP 15000. It turned out that the port is needed to be opened at the client end. My network administrator checked his firewall rules and sorted out the issue. Thankyou all for responding.
  5. Did you find anything in the log files that could help me sort out the problem?
  6. Firstly whenever i modify a policy on a client it takes too much time on enforcement. I can see that from the green pie chart/circle for corresponding policy (which shows when enforcement is pending and when it has been enforced) 2ndly, If i try force synchronization, it does not work. And says that it has been queued for synchronization.
  7. I have allowed UDP 15000 port in firewall if thats what you mean by opening port at host. Also UDP Port 15000 is checked under network agent policy. But still i am unable to force synchronize clients.

  9. I tried the tool you mentioned. On client it gives this result: UDP port 15000(unknown service): LISTENING or FILTERED portqry.exe -n -e 15000 -p exits with return code 0x00000002 Whereas on kasper server it says: UDP port 15000(unknown service): NOT LISTENING portqry.exe -n -e 15000 -p exits with return code 0x00000001
  10. I tried telnet for verifying if port 15000 is working. And it gives me error that Could not open connection to the host, on port 15000: connect failed. Have tried telnet from both sides, from client and from the kasper server as well. Error is same.
