  1. I noticed this when I upgraded KIS 2018 to patch h. Suddenly KIS is reporting that my PC's wireless connection to my router is 'unsecured' and suggesting that I run Kaspersky Secure Connection. I have double-checked my router settings and the router IS secured. I went into Firewall settings, marked the wireless connection as trusted, still get the prompt. Upgraded to KIS 2019, same thing. Prior to patch h, the same wireless connection was never flagged as unsecured. This prompt appears to be a blatant advertisement for Kaspersky Secure Connection, which I have on my system only because the KIS installer put it there (the free version). Would appreciate any ideas for a solution.
  2. CCleaner 5.42 was working fine on my system with KIS patch (g) BEFORE I updated my Windows 10 Pro to the April 2018 Update. Here is what I did to fix the CCleaner crashing: (1) Restored a system image I made BEFORE the Windows April Update that contained KIS patch (g) and CCleaner 5.41 (2) Updated KIS to patch (h) (3) Reinstalled the Windows 10 April Update (4) Updated CCleaner to 5.42 CCleaner runs just fine now. I suspect that it's the order in which the three programs are updated that is critical (Kaspersky, then Windows 10, then CCleaner).
