  1. Hi Did you get an answer to this? I use emClient for a number of different email accounts from different providers including gmail (for my personal email) Randomly I'd get unexplained IMAP errors seemingly related to connection or sync! Today constantly gmail failed! From another forum I saw a mention that someone else found that Kaspersky was the issue (Did not state which version) Or what the outcome was but it was a clue as I'd had no end of trouble with scanning until I my my Canon Scanner app in the exclusion list, As an experiment I have added the EmClient MailClient.exe to the list of Kaspersky exclusions and it seems to work. I need to experiment more with the exclusion options to see whats the minimum you need I'd hope it would just be network communication as that's what Kaspersky seems to have tightened up on in the 19.xxxx update. Open the Kaspersky Dashboard, Click the cog bottom left Select Additional from the Left Panel Select Threats and Exclusions from the Right Panel From the next screen select 'Specify Trusted Applications' (roughly in the middle of the screen) Click Add button bottom Right Click Browse bottom Left on next screen. Locate the MailClient.exe (C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe) I've for now just set the option 'Do not Scan All Traffic' and make sure it's Active Then Save Hope this helps Steve
  2. Hi All Yes I have the same issue. couple times stuck at 96% and right now 100% shutdown restart it comes back OK and manual works I believe it cause my Canon scanning software to fail. Could Scan from Printer to PC but not from PC directly! After reboot all ok.
  3. OK So have updated main desktop to latest version of Kapersky Total Security. I emailed myself the eicar.zip test file, Which was detected and the contents of the zip file deleted! Will monitor for any other emails coming in that I suspect! Took me a while to find one of my 'other' email account that would let me send a message with the eicar.zip attachment.
  4. Hi I have similar issue/concerns. I have recently build new PCs for a client with Windows Live Mail 2012 email client and Kaperskey Internet security. This detected Virus on one of there email accounts. All good! On My office PC Win 7 Home Premium. I have Kapersky Total security Ver: 16.0.0.614(g) with all email/spam modules enabled. Again with Windows Live mail 2012. I'm not sure this is detecting viruis! I had to setup a new laptop for myself with Win 10 Build 1511, using the Win 10 mail app. with the my same Kaprersky Total security Licence. I note it's version 16.01.445© This detected and resolved a couple of ransom ware Trojans! This made be check what the main PC was up-to! I don't belive it's working! How do I check? I'll update version and report back Steve
