  1. I am having this problem also on Windows 10. I think it might have something to do with the Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter. I already contacted support and sent them a memory dump file and a GetSystemInfo report. Did not get a response back yet.
  2. Alright so I just talked to someone on the Kaspersky Live chat and found the fix for it. You need to go Tools>Options>Advanced>View Certificates and then click the authorities tab and click Import... then go to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP16.0.0\Data\Cert and open the (fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer file and put a check mark in This certificate can identify websites and then install the certificate and restart Firefox.
  3. I have Kaspersky Total Security version (d). I meant to include that when I originally post this.
  4. So a few days ago I have performed a clean install of Windows 10 and I have been having issues using Firefox with Kaspersky installed, what happens was that when I try to go Google I will get an error saying my connection is not secure. And the error code was sec_error_unknown_issuer. And I couldn't add an exception for some reason but then it started becoming a more bigger issue and started happening on Yahoo and another site so I posted on Mozilla's forum and someone was able to help me figure out that the issuer was Kaspersky and I tried reinstalling certificates and turning off scan encrypted connections and still didn't work. And it seems to be becoming a more bigger issue as I keep using my computer and I scanned for viruses and I don't have any. I have a link here to the post I put on Mozilla's forum here. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions...6#answer-845483
  5. I found another way to fix this. A friend of mine just started having this problem and what I did is clicked on Show additional tools and went to Microsoft Windows Troubleshooting and it found some problems. I clicked on fix and the problem went away on his computer. Try doing that and see if it fixes the problem.
  6. I found the problem. What causes the error is having Microsoft Office and OneDrive installed at the same time and when I run a full scan, it will give me the error and what i did was uninstalled OneDrive and then ran the scanner again and it worked fine. Thanks everyone for trying to help.
  7. I uninstalled Microsoft Office and deleted all of it's files and then I ran the scanner and I didn't get an error message, after that was done I installed all of the needed Office packages and then I ran the scanner again and I got the error message again. I am starting to think that there is a certain file that will cause the error message when it tries to scan it because it gives me the error whenever it tries to scan SkyDrive.LocalizedResources.mui.dll (I don't remember what it said for where the file is located but I know it s somewhere in the Users folder).I did try to scan the User folder and it did not give me an error, I think it will give me the error when it tries to scan the file when running a full scan. Also I forgot to mention earlier that I had to put the install disc into a different computer and copy the files on it to a flash drive and install it from the flash drive on the Windows 8 computer because it doesn't have a disc drive which I just started thinking that could be the problem, but I don't think that is what is causing it because it works fins when Microsoft office isn't installed.
  8. It worked.Here is the link: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...371d889f6ebc613
  9. Just got done running the scanner. It doesn't open anything at all after it finishes,it just makes a zip file and then it doesn't do anything after that.
  10. Sorry, just looked over your post again.I'll run the scan again and paste the URl.
  11. I did run the GetSystemInfo scanner and it scanned my system and made a zip file that contains 6 folders and 12 files and I can't upload that to the forum.Do I need to upload all of those files and folders or do I only need to include some of those files?
  12. I tried download the software again and it worked but I can't attach it to this post because it tells me that the file is too large.
  13. Thanks for replying.I tried to disable ClickToRun and that didn't solve the problem.I did restart my computer and it solved the EICAR problem, and when to try to download GetSystemInfo, I get an error saying that the page for it was not found. So I can't download the software for that.Is there an alternative download link I can use?
  14. Hi, yesterday I bought Kaspersky Total Security and I haven't had a problem when installing it and it will run fine.I didn't have problems until today. When I run a full scan, it will scan fine but when it gets either 99% or 100% I will get an error saying "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application" When I click ok it will say full scan has completed. Another thing is when I installed it I tested it by making EICAR Test files to make sure it is working and it did tell me that it failed to disinfect it and it told me to delete it.And it deleted the files without a problem. And I just tested it again this morning but it said that it failed to disinfect and delete and it wants me to restart my computer.I'm not sure if it is protecting my computer right now.Any help would be appreciate.Thank you. I'm running Kaspersky on Windows 8.1
