  1. So your saying I can't upgrade the KES version from the KSC Server?
  2. I am having the same issue. Although only the SP1 MR2 agents are showing the haven't been scanned in a while.
  3. I have a mixed environment of kaspersky products that include KES 10.2.1.23, 10.2.2.10535, 10.2.4.674 and KSC NA 10.1.249, 10.2.434. With the recent release of SP1 MR2 (10.2.4.674) about 60% of my pcs have upgraded to SP1 MR2 but the rest has not. Is there a reason why some would upgrade and some would not? I have tasks created for each version that allows application update of critical and approved updates, all from Kaspersky Security Center and not the Lab Update Servers.
  4. Never made a difference. I cannot install the 32bit version provided by Kaspersky lab. I have to create my own msi package instead. Do you know if the find and fix vulnerabilities would still update java if needed?
  5. I can confirm using the MSI works but now the vulnerability updates will not update java when a new version comes out.
  6. I have a new Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition that will become my domain controller, DHCP server and DNS Server. I recently installed Kaspersky 10 SP1 on the machine and now my DNS queries seem to time out for anyone that uses that DNS server. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall DNS which did not work. I then decided to try and uninstall Kaspersky and all of my DNS queries begain to work again. I let that run for about a week with no issues. Today I tried to reinstall Kaspersky again and BAM my DNS queries time out again. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? I had to remove Kaspersky again just so my DNS queries would work. KES - 10.2.2.10535 KSCNA - 10.2.434 I have a striped down policy for my Servers that only has the File Anti-Virus feature enabled.
  7. Ok, so I upgraded to KSC SP1 and updated the network agents to the newest version as well and I get the same result. It still says Operating System Version is not supported.
  8. I didn't realizie KSC SP1 was available. I will download the new version and give it a try and let you know.
  9. I tried setting up the installation packages this way as well with the same results. I am able to navigate to \\server\KLSHARE\Packages\executable_package_8.0.40.25\exec\VAPM$2932\jre-8u40-windows-i586.exe and double click the .exe to install java.
  10. I've tried both. Using the Java provided by Kaspersky or configuring an installer package and schedule task from java offline installer i downloaded from Java. I get the same results on both. I've tried using the Network Agent and through Windows Resources with a valid account. If I uncheck "Verify OS before install" it will complete with the manual task I created but it doesn't get installed. I can manually install java using the same java offline installer on the pc when I don't use KSC.
  11. OK, so after no troubleshooting KL says the problem is with Java. I don't really agree as I can manually install the java 8 offline installer without any problems, but when I put it in KSC to deploy it I get the unsupported version message.
  12. Did they ever fix your problem? I had an issue installing Java 8 on windows 7 x64 machines and Kaspersky told me it's not their problem, it's Java.
