  1. Running KES 10.2.5.3201 (MR3) and KSC 10.3.407 We use the WSUS feature (for security and critical Windows updates) but the "scan for vulnerabilities" task seems to also be scanning for 3rd party software updates and loading it all into the Software Updates. We don't want updates for Adobe products, VLC, Java, etc. Is there any way to disable only the updates for 3rd party software? Also, if we decided later we want to use this for just specific programs (like Java, for example) is there a way to get that granular?
  2. I've been getting this error on a couple of computers over the past week under my "Critical events": Event type: Error verifying application databases and modules Result: Update files are corrupted Object: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/wmuf0002.dat Object\Path: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/ Object\Name: wmuf0002.dat Application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Maintenance Release 1 for Windows Version: 10.2.1.23 =================================== Event type: Error verifying application databases and modules Result: Update files are corrupted Object: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/wmuf0002.dat Object\Path: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/ Object\Name: wmuf0002.dat Application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Maintenance Release 1 for Windows Version: 10.2.1.23 ==================================== Event type: Error verifying application databases and modules Result: Update files are corrupted Object: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/wmuf0002.dat Object\Path: http://dnl-02.geo.kaspersky.com/bases/wmuf/ Object\Name: wmuf0002.dat Application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Maintenance Release 1 for Windows Version: 10.2.1.23 ----------------------------------------------- These are from three different computers. I've tried pushing new updates but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I would rather not have to uninstall then reinstall the software as these are all remote machines.
  3. We are currently running Security Center 9.2.96 on Server 2008 (VM). We want to upgrade to 2008 R2 (also VM) as well as Security Center 10, so I am wonder which is the easiest way to do it? 1. Upgrade to Security Center 10 then migrate it and the users to the new 2008 R2 VM 2. Spin up the new 2008 R2 VM, do a fresh install of Security Center 10, then migrate users from the old Server and Security Center? 3. Something I haven't thought of. All help is appreciated
