  1. It was just working the other day. same issue as mentioned before.
  2. I am having the same problem. Unmanaged client version Kaspersky Antivirus It keeps asking to restart which I do, but it asks again later. how can I fix this?
  3. Thanks. just wanted to know if it stopped on that date for a particular reason. even though it was not supported since 2012.
  4. did the definition database for KAV just stop on 4-1-2014? It was working fine until then for updates.
  5. Also, where is the fix by kaspersky that was being worked on and available in a 'few hours'?
  6. My only solution was to uninstall Kaspersky and then do system restore. These machines don't have anti-virus currently now. I am worried about reinstalling and getting the same problem again. Is there anyway to fix this without removing Kaspersky or doing system restore? Are the new updates fixed where it won't detect tcpip.sys as a false positive? Is there a fix to install without having to remove or reverting?
  7. but the computer won't get the new policy. so do system recovery. then reboot. then what?
  8. the group task for virus scan runs after rebooting after system restore.
  9. That will only work for those computers not managed by the administration server. After rebooting, the task will remove tcpip.sys again.
  10. I am having the same problem. Attempted to replace the tcpip.sys from working computer. DO NOT REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER. I attempted also to restore from kaspersky backup the tcpip.sys and this did not work either. Please find a fix asap!
