  1. Went back to 2013, got rid of DVDVideoSoft apps, did clean install of 2014, still have slow page loads. Here is link to GetSystemInfo: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...1c3b472deb46d59
  2. After I read this post, I turned off Windows Defender, even though my browsing speed hasn't been too bad (I never thought it was one of the processes that would interfere with Kaspersky). As soon as I did that, my speed increased tremendously!! Thanks for the suggestion!
  3. I have done that when I had a problem before with another version. But since I already went back to 2013, I hate to mess with something that's working right now (it's installed and functioning perfectly). I'm afraid of a problem cropping up with another uninstall and reinstall. I think I'll wait until there's a patch, especially if there are other people with 2014 problems.
  4. I have used KAV for several years. 2013 worked well on my 2 computers. When I saw 2014 final out, I downloaded it, uninstalled 2013, and installed 2014. On the Win7 64-bit computer and in Chrome stable, Firefox stable, Maxthon2 stable, IE10 stable, Opera 12 stable, and Opera 15 stable the page loading is slow and inconsistent. On the XP 32-bit computer in Maxthon2 stable the page loading is slow. On the Win7 computer, there were a few other intermittent problems, such as undependable or non-form filling by Roboform. I uninstalled 2014 on the Win7 computer and installed 2013 again. All problems disappeared! Are there others who are having similar problems with 2014? Might there be a patch to address some of these issues? I really like the GUI, layout, loading and options of 2014...wish I could use it. But it's frustrating trying to use the internet with it!
