  1. There was another topic about how KAV firewall block ping/rpd. No resolution came from it. I still have some machines where I can't RDP/ping but as soon as I turn off KAV firewall I'm able to RDP/ping. Would be nice if this was fixed with the Q4 patch since its taking so long anyways. Might as well add it the the rest of the current bug fixes...doubtful though.
  2. There was suppose to be a patch fix for this problem at the beginning of April. I'm hoping Q4 is russian for end of June.
  3. Better communication by Kaspersky about patches/updates. Many of us have been waiting for - "Not scanned for a long time" status problem and only by reading the forum or talking to a rep via chat have I been given status updates and even these updates have been wrong. I was told a patch was coming out April then I read on the forum that someone said maybe June. I also could never get RDP to work on 1 machine while Kaspersky was installed even after troubleshooting the problem with tech support.
  4. Like L-H said if you are deploying 10 over 8 it will reach 50=66% in security center then the machine being pushed endpoint will need to be rebooted to complete the install. After the reboot the user gets prompted to click "next" to finish install. Why Kaspersky changed how endpoint gets deployed from SS and forces user interaction I will never know.
  5. Having the same problem as others. KES10 seems to hang my applications. Will try and disable and enable system watcher.
  6. I have a similar problem but it only happens on one machine. It's a fresh PC install, Endpoint 10 pushed from Security Center 10 and I can't RDP or ping that machine. I have added my network to trusted networks tab in firewall settings and also allowed everything in network packet rules with the same result. The only thing that will allow me to ping that machine/rdp to it is if I turn off the firewall in the policy manager.
