  1. I have Kaspersky Pure which I purchased last Oct and just renewed the subscription, and that's the one that has the Proactive Defense which was giving me trouble, so I turned it off. So, if I understand what you are saying, I'm ok to leave it turned off and next year my Pure will have a substitution? Thank you for your quick reply. Stacia
  2. Thank you, Jeff. After months of trying to solve the same problem in Publisher 2010 (message: windows memory is low when I try to cut and paste), I find you are correct. It is Kaspersky's Proactive Defense causing the problem. I have a newsletter that needs to go out monthly, so is the only solution to turn off Proactive Defense? Is that safe? I'd be grateful for any additional help of information. Stacia
