  1. It seems to me KIS has the wrong approach on this issue. When an apparent, ( & in this case false), error occurs between the license / database, It seems that KIS choose to disable all user protection. Surely the better approach is to maintain the protection, whilst the issue is investigated. A fail safe approach, rather than a punitive one. This situation is unacceptable to me as a user, & leaves me wondering if I can continue to trust KIS for A/V protection. I realise how difficult tracking viruses is & recognise that their will be problems, but your approach seems to include an additional self inflicted trojan, which does your customers no good!
  2. Hi, I have had the same issue, but on internet security 2012. I got a KIS (??) popup screen during an IE session Both KIS & MSSE were inactive, NO Protection !!! When I tried to get to KIS support, via IE9, it failed with '502 bad gateway' I have also noticed that the KIS desktop widget, is sometimes grey, or green, for no apparent reason ??? did a reboot & full scan - Clean Then on another PC downloaded 'MS defender offline' & made boot CD, then booted affected PC & did full MS scan, again clean. Looks like a KIS system cock up, or short term action virus? Info on '502 bad gateway' error sent to KIS
