  1. We are using Sophos Firewall firmware version 9.413-4. All the users are configure to use "automatically detect settings" for Internet Explorer. Configuration is provided through DHCP using option 252 WPAD. The value of this option is "http://proxy host name:8181/wpad.dat" thank you
  2. I've been informed that a ticket has been opened through our vendor (INC000007883824). At the moment I didn't receive any update and I'm not able to review the progress of that ticket. Are you able to give me an update on this? thank you Riccardo
  3. it doesn't matter if it is HTTP or HTTPS. With proxy enabled Web Control doesn't work. If I disable proxy it works correctly.
  4. Does anybody else experienced a behavior like mine?: KES 10.3.0.6294 (default configuration) Windows 7 Professional IE 11 the issue is that Web Control doesn't work at all. Kaspersky technicians already verified my pc and collect the necessary information to investigate. Today I've discovered that removing the proxy from IE configuration the problem disappear and Web Control start working. I did another experiment: I have activated my phone hotspot and connected my laptop via internet using the hotspot only. Removing any reference to the a proxy AND removing the "Automatically detect settings" flag Web Control works. In case you use a proxy Web Control is useless. Please try and let me know... Riccardo
  5. I'm not sure has been required on a previous reply but it would be interesting for me having a pop up to advise the users that an installation of a product is going to start and a message to the users is showed. I have seen that on some multi country mass delivery scenario in different time zone an unaware user restart the pc while a KES installation is running creating a lot of problem with the installation. A pop up message might advise the user to keep the PC running and not to restart it until the procedure has completed preventing corruption on the installation. Now I have just a message the might appear at the end of the task. thanks Riccardo
  6. Dmitry I think that this question was for someone else cause on my post I've reported a solution worked for me. Am I right? tx Riccardo
  7. I have had similar problem with PC were in the past installed with a version 6 of the antivirus. On some PC I have seen I was not able to install any new version even if apparently there was the antivirus installed. I have solved using kavremover tool (support.kaspersky.com/1464) using the option -NODETECT (with this option you'll be able to select the old version to uninstall even if the antivirus was no longer installed and removing the proper version 6 you were using) after that, install operation was successful.
  8. It would be useful for me that update agent role would more flexible and intelligent. Let me describe my problem. I have defined a specific server in DMZ configured as Connection Gateway and Update Agent letting remote internet users connecting to Security Center even when they are out of office and be able to receive policy and whatever while they are out of office. I have one group into the security center with all workstations and, for obvious traffic optimization, several update agent configured statically serving strategically all company sites. My problem is that when one of this Workstations connects security center over internet (please note they switch to a different profile when they are out of domain) I'm able to see using netstat command that client try to contact randomly one of the update agent available for its group that for sure are not reachable from internet. This is obviously correct as long as the PC it is within the Corporate Wan but not so efficient when the user connect for instance from home. That PC try and try until it will contact the update agent is into the DMZ. Signature update might require minutes until the pc find the proper udpate agent. I would like a way to configure the remote users to use a specific update agent while they are connecting from internet. Moreover I would like that the connection profile may define a different synchronization interval to have a faster response for specific task when they connect remotely. thanks a lot for your attention on my suggestion. Riccardo
  9. It would be very useful for me having a way (using KSC) to remotely remove kaspersky installed programs. I'm used to run kavremover when I have some issue on old machines that have been historically installed and upgrade with Kaspersky programs. kavremover functionality is good but I need it implemented within KSC. it is also important for me that this function is able to remove selectively the programs. For example select all antivirus versions it might be able to remove and keep network agent. thanks for you attention on this.
